This is a 2-day specialist training in working with couples who struggle after the discovery of multiple betrayals due to compulsive sexual behaviours. The training will include lectures, conversations and practice, as well as an opportunity to self-reflect on therapist’s bias regarding sexual behaviours. 

On this training, you will learn: 
‣ An overview of compulsive sexual behaviours 
‣ The impact of compulsive sexual behaviours on partners 
‣ The relationship dynamics as a result of compulsive sexual behaviours 
‣ Clinical interventions to help couples recover from the betrayal of compulsive sexual behaviours

Working with couples and CSB: 


This 2-day supervision training will focus on specific skills and ethical consideration working with therapists who work with GSRD clients (Gender, Sex and Relationship Diversity). The training will include lectures, conversations and practice, as well as an opportunity to self-reflect on supervisor’s bias and blind spots regarding gender, sex and relationship diversities.  

On this training, you will learn: 
‣ The specificities of the GSRD populations 
‣ Update on current terms to use 
‣ The supervisor/ supervisee dynamic in relations to sexual, gender and relationship diverse populations 
‣ Managing conflicts and misunderstanding

GSRD-aware Supervision


This is a specialist 2-day training in working with gay, bisexual and men who have sex with men (MSM) who struggle with Chemsex. This training will include lecture, conversations and practice, as well as an opportunity to self-reflect on therapist’s bias regarding this particular presentation. 

On this training, you will learn: 
‣ The specific issues of Chemsex and the specificities of the population struggling with it. 
‣ How to assess clients, create behavioural plans, and offer a sex-positive space. 
‣ Clinical interventions working with the underlying causes of Chemsex behaviours.
 Ethical considerations.

Working with Chemsex 


This is a 2-day training in understanding compulsive sexual behaviours and how to work with this complex presentation. The training will include lectures, conversations and practice, as well as an opportunity to self-reflect on therapist’s bias regarding sexual behaviours. 

On this training, you will learn: 
‣ What compulsive sexual behaviours are and how it is different from ‘sex addiction’
‣ How to assess compulsive sexual behaviours 
‣ Clinical interventions treating compulsive sexual behaviours within a sex-positive framework. 
‣ Ethical considerations working with this population.

Understanding compulsive sexual behaviours 

Silva Neves is a COSRT-accredited and UKCP-registered psychosexual and relationship psychotherapist and a trauma psychotherapist. He is a Pink Therapy Clinical Associate. He sees individuals and couples presenting with a wide range of sex and relationship issues. 

Silva is a COSRT-accredited clinical supervisor and he is a Course Director for CICS (Contemporary Institute of Clinical Sexology). 

Silva delivers a range of trainings on sex, relationships, trauma and compulsive sexual behaviours and speaks internationally. 

Silva is a member of the editorial board for the leading international journal Sex and Relationship Therapy. 

Silva is the author of Compulsive Sexual Behaviours, A Psycho-Sexual Treatment Guide for Clinicians (2021, Routledge).
